Immediate Life Support & CPR Trauma Airway Workshop Courses

a+a training Australia and SOMA HEALTH together bring you 2 days of Intense training to give you outstanding resuscitation skills

The Resuscitation patient can present a challenging and stressful scenario, especially if it’s something you don’t do often. The ability to have an approach to the management of the airway as well as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, in general, and a method of assessment and management of the trauma patient, is essential for good outcomes.

The Immediate Life Support (ILS) course is a co-badged ARC and UK Resuscitation Council course focusing on cardiac arrest initial management. GP's can also gain AQ&CPD Cat 1 points along with CPR endorsement

Topics include:

  • ARC guidelines
  • Causes of cardiac arrest
  • Rhythm recognition
  • Defibrillation (monophasic and biphasic)
  • Airway management including LMAs.

This course also covers first line cardiac arrest drugs including adrenaline, lignocaine, amiodarone and atropine.

‘The Advanced Airway Workshop’ includes focused, clinically based didactic teaching, enhanced with hands-on practical sessions. It is the only Airway Workshop of its kind in Australasia, and gives you a day of total immersion into the advanced airway.

These two workshops, have been attended by hundreds of satisfied doctors, nurses and paramedics. Most will do both workshops, when available, on the same weekend..
